Physical Therapist Assistants work under the direction of physical therapists, helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses regain movement and manage pain. Delta’s PTA program, established in 1976 and the second oldest in Michigan, leads to an Associate in Applied Science with optional dual degrees in General Management or Health Fitness Specialist. The cohort-based program includes five semesters of clinical training with blended delivery. Accredited by CAPTE, it posts 100% ultimate licensure pass rates and 100% employment rates within six months of licensure.
