Delta’s Clinical Medical Assistant program is a three-semester advanced certificate preparing students for administrative and clinical tasks in physician and health practitioner offices. Students train in a simulated hospital environment covering medical history taking, vital signs recording, patient preparation, and physician assistance. The program combines theory, labs, and clinical rotations at partner sites including Ascension, McLaren, Covenant, and Spectrum Health. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification exam. Courses may also count toward a future associate degree.
