The Architectural Technology Associate in Applied Science prepares students for technical-level careers assisting licensed architects, construction engineers, and urban planners. Graduates may work as draftspersons, building appraisers, or inspectors. The curriculum covers architectural drafting, CAD and design, construction methods and materials, building codes, structural principles, cost estimation, and 3D modeling. Students develop proficiency in CAD software alongside problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills. Some courses transfer to bachelor’s degree programs in architecture. The program spans 4 semesters and 66 credits, delivered in a blended format.
