# Early Middle College (EMC) Delta College's Early Middle College program is a five-year Michigan Department of Education-approved program allowing high school students to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and an associate's degree or 60 transferable college credits. Students pay in-district tuition rates, with school districts often covering costs.
